POTD: New York City FC +0 - 4u (+125) - L New York City FC ML - 2u (+200) - L Minnesota United +1.5 - 2u (-120) - L MIN/SEA Over 3 & NYC/POR Over 3 Parlay - 2u (+270) - W/P We are going up to Canada today as the Montreal Impact host expansion side Los Angeles FC. Montreal have not had a great start to the season, forced to play most of their games on the road due to the weather they've earned themselves the worst goal differential in the Eastern Conference at -6, the 6 points the Impact have managed to pick up came via 1-0 victories against teams with other priorities (Champions League). Los Angeles FC started the season in a similar situation, forced to play all of their matches on the road since their stadium is not quite ready, however they have earned 9 points on the road this year, the highest tally in the League. All of this combined with the fact that Montreal's Igacio Piatti and Matteo Mancosu both carrying knocks going into the match has me feeling good about Los Angeles FC +0 at positive odds. I'm also making a play on over 3 in the late match between Los Angeles Galaxy and Atlanta United.
POTD: 1:00 PM ET - Los Angeles FC +0 (+120) - 3u - W Los Angeles Galaxy/Atlanta United Over 3 (-105) - 2u - L Just one game today as Sporting Kansas City play host to Vancouver Whitecaps. I'm really liking the over 2.5 here as both teams have seen plenty of goals throughout their opening matches this season with SKC seeing an average of nearly 3.6 goals per game. Also taking a small play on the Whitecaps +1 spread at positive odds.
POTD: SKC/VAN Over 2.5 - 4u (+100) - W VAN +1 - 2u (+105) - L We've got Toronto FC hosting Chivas de Guadalajara tonight in the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions League Final. Temperatures will be low with some light precipitation possible, these conditions are similar to Toronto FC's first two home matches against Liga MX clubs where they defeated Club America 3-1 and Tigres 2-1. Seeing as Toronto are putting their sole focus into winning the Champions League and Chivas are a significantly worse team than both Club América and Tigres I'm taking both Toronto FC -1 and the Over 2 tonight. I have no doubts that Toronto FC will win but I can easily see them letting in a rogue goal since they have conceded in every single competitive match they've played in 2018.
POTD: Over 2 - 4u (-120) - W (+3.33) Toronto FC -1 - 2u (+140) - L (-2) MLS Western Conference Final Second Leg:
SEA ML -135 [2u] This one is pretty straightforward, despite winning the 2nd leg in the last round my Houston Dynamo are an awful team on the road and will be extremely exposed tonight since they will more than likely need three goals to advance. I see Seattle running away with the aggregate scoreline and winning the night. MLS Eastern Conference Final Second Leg:
TFC -1 -105 [4u] - P Toronto have Jozy Altidore and Sebastian Giovinco returning for the home leg of the series, Toronto hasn't conceded a goal to Columbus in their last three home fixtures. Toronto are averaging 2.5 goals this season at home. Daily Record: 0-0-1 (0u) 2017 MLS Playoffs: 6-6-3 (+3u) |
